The last year for Alyx George (aka Ana, Veya) has been a busy one. In only his first year in producing dance music he has been recognised by DJs worldwide.The Year started off with topping the Trackitdown and Juno charts with his debut EP “My Escape” and then going on to dominate the Beatport progressive house charts  with his debut EP on Whartone “ Apollo”  that he produced with Jon Kong and Chris Aidy. The title track hit the top 40 on Beatport and appeared on many summer compilation albums such as Koolwaters and Spinnin alongside the sister track Delphi that was played and Supported by none other than Tiesto on his radio show, Cream Amnesia Residency and also Kiss Fm. His tracks were also supported and in the crate and playlists of Dj’s such as Marcus Schulz, Paul Thomas, Sonny Wharton, Sasha and Thomas Penton.

2011 saw Alyx Dj across the country showcasing his range of music under his different aliases. From Groove laden sets at the EGG to big room progressive sets at London’s Ministry of sound, he has played alongside Roger Sanchez, Benni Bennasi, Michael Woods, Seb Fontaine, Manual de la mare and many more.

P5 Audio were also quick to spot his talent as a sound designer and have recently hired him to produce a multitude of Sample Packs and Presets for a wide genre of electronic music and Industry leading plugins and as Alyx commits more time to the studio in 2012 we will see him further tailor his sound in his forthcoming productions and remixes for established and upcoming artists, alongside developing his live shows and Dj sets.
